Haas VF2SS
The Haas VF2SS is somewhat of our standard milling machine here at Gaston Components. We currently have 4 of these machines with the same setup etc. to facilitate quick setup, and to be flexible and be able to run the same jobs in different machines etc. We have two of these machines also equipped with 4th axis.
All our machines are equipped with Renishaw probing systems.
We have found this machine to be ideal for the majority of parts we produce here at Gaston. It is quick to setup, reliable and easy to maintain.
It is highly suitable for smaller parts in small to medicum sized batches.

Haas ST20-Y
In our turning department we also have a special Haas machine as our standard machine, the Haas ST20-Y, with live tooling and y-axis. We currently run two identical machiens of this model, both equipped with Capto tool system from Sandvik Coromant, as well as TOPlus 65 power chuck system from Hainbuch, all to be able to reduce setup times for new jobs, tool change etc.
This machien is speially suited for small to medium sized production batches.
Our ST20-Y's can handle bars up to 64mm in diameter thought spindle, and up to a maximum of 530mm in diameter when machinging form cut work pieces. Maximum length we can turn in these machines are 570mm.

DMG Mori NLX2500/700
Our DMG Mori NLX 2500/700 is our most advanced turning machine, equipped with live tooling (10.000 rpm), bar feeder and robot solution.
The machine is highly stable, and suitable for medim to larger production batches of, preferably, more complex parts with hig demands on accuracy and stability.
The machine has a maximum bar capacity of 75mm.
Maximum turning diameter: 366mm, and maximum turnign length: 1255mm
